The honey bee is a much-loved insect that many of us feel inspired by. Einstein And The Honey Bee explores the world of the honey bee and discovers that there are some things that science just can’t predict. The film echoes the labour of the honey bee, created through stop-frame animation from a hundred and twenty hand-drawn images by artist, Thomas Knowler.

Einstein And The Honey Bee has shown at Reel Earth Environmental Film Festival and Ideal Homes festival in New Zealand as part of Environment Network; Cucalorus Festival, Wilmington, USA; Squash Nutrition’s L8 Honey Night, Liverpool; ICA, Auburn Cinema, Roxy bar and Screen, Soho Short Film festival and Meltdown Festival, London, UK; Edinburgh Film Festival, UK and Aesthetica Short Film Festival, York, UK.
