Rambles with Nature (1)

Rambles with Nature 1 is the first element of Sheila Ghelani’s Rambles with Nature project. It consists of four moving image works which have been exhibited as an installation, and also as online, ‘cine-poems’.

In January 2014 Rambles with Nature 1 was installed at the Siobhan Davies Studios, London encouraging visitors to discover the moving image works on their own ramble through the studio building. Nestled in fake hedging, alongside some carefully selected objects, visitors were invited to slow down, listen, and notice the ‘unseen’ or ‘overlooked’.

Ramble 1 has since been shown at Cambridge Junction (2014) and Warwick Arts Centre (2015) and Forest Fringe, Edinburgh (2015).
